I am laughing at the blokes who say they are going to short gold.
There is a derivatives mountain of estimated over 1 QUADRILLION US$S. Probably 25% of that is Toxic. That means the counterparty who was paid to take the risk is insolvent. The world GDP is only 63 TRILLION US$,s. The world financial system just cannot digest it.
So you short gold, and make some profits. Well done. Now what are you going to do with those profits ? If you leave them in your trading account, you may never get to enjoy them ! All money market funds are in the danger zone. The best thing you can do with all those trading profits is BUY GOLD !!!! IF YOU CAN GET IT....THAT IS !
