So lets say VTG do $17 million EBITDA in H1, minus $5m depreciation, minus $0.3m in interest expenses, minus 30% taxes= $8.2m/154m shares outstanding=5.32c eps.
H1 2017 eps was 14.11 cents, so they're probably looking at a >60% reduction in bottom line earnings in the December half, which is usually their more profitable period.
Then from 1 July 2019 they lose a further 7-8% of retail remuneration from Telstra. In my opinion VTG has value trap written all over it.

"In my opinion VTG has a value trap " yes and no ,they will open up another 10 stores to compensate the loss of retail remuneration
and they are branching out in two different sectors etc..
But I will get back to you once they have paid their H1 dividend and will be able to tell you what the dividend % was
After that I will know if I was fooling myself .
