How long do you think it would take to clear the debt off the back of molycop?
the only way the debt is cleared that way is if steel or iron ore turns around. Shareholders would realise the benefit of this if Arrium is debt free.
As shareholders we will not see any benefit until there is clear profit to return to us.
Without a debt clearing sale any profit will be eaten up by debt and interest for a decade or 2.
I wish they didn't have to sell it , but if the price is there its bye bye molycop.
If the board didn't get a strike with 60%+ at the last agm
If the share price wastnt 4.5 cents
If Iron ore wasn't $42
If there wasn't oversupply in our steel products
then they might not sell, just pay off the debt over time.
Problem is , the board doesn't have a decade to start returning value to holders, they have until the next AGM.
