    back then a high mortgage was $40000 at %14 now anywhere up to $500000 at %7.5 debt is thru the roof ..it is exactly the same ..if not worse,,87 it was the corporates who went down...bondie..skase etc..this crash will be the consumer crash as they are loaded with debt,,,will be worse then 87..
