Good analysis, Nockname. Optimix had been beating the drums since time immemorable. To state CMQ had a fair chance of success is plain silly without any reagrds for the truth.
CMQ must win on the 2 issues of the case - interest rate and the SA sale. Winning one will still end up as a loss and if you read the judgment, the bondholders had a pretty compelling case!
And as rightly posted here EVEN IF CMQ wins, it will still loss in a years time when the bond is due.
What is true with CMQ the die hard holders hold on to their shares while the larger smarter shareholders spin the shares round while they make the exit. Plenty of history to show that this is the case.
