Ok, first of all it won’t go under for two reasons! One they are too big, second they have lots of assets!(don’t compare CNP with Enron and other….)
I just got out of the phone with one of the ex management of CNP. Basically he said that cnp will sell part of its asset here in OZ to raise money, for the short term debt (3 billion).
Once the SP is back to 3.50-4.0 they will raise more money through shares holders and they need to talk to the banks.
That’s all. he also said those who picked cnp at 0.42-0.50 were LUCKY ONCE.
