I've said it before. There is NO evidence for charting efficacy: empirically shows very minimal volume at best, because the rest are seeing the same patterns. its pawned by some brokers because they are "trade ideas" i.e. they give you excuses to trade. it's also filler material for "trading educators". At best they do propose stop loss and take profit ideas for traders, and I guess you could call that risk management, but in the long run, those that buy and hold have outperformed most active traders, and that's just a straight up fact.
