This is what always happens to the retail investors my friend they buy into an announcement which is usually announced at the peak of a trend and then there is a market sell off by the big players.
The retail investors are left holding the tops while the price falls and normally retail investors sell the bottom out of fear of losing all their money.
When the price has bottomed the big players jump back in and ride the next wave up.
The skill in investing is understanding the wave and not buying into bullish announcements at the top of trend.
Every time there is a bullish announcement most of the guys on this site are screaming moon when really it is a pump and dump.
