I think the 11beta HSD inhibitor hasn't been pursued because the results are quite disappointing actually. They've reduced pressures by 4 units, from 33 to 29, but that's quite insignificant for patients with IIH. These patients need dramatic reduction of ICP - below at least 20 units, to start to feel relief.
