glad to hear somebody adding some reasonable objection. My answer to China's logistical challenge in invading northern Australia is based on the shere size of the fleet and airforce. Withouth the 7th Fleet to offer resistance, there is little between them and us. They can stake out the entire route with enough submarines to provide cover for sea transport. Their advanced missile technology will prove indispensible in keeping any surface resistance at bay.

Their airforce can feasibly drop 10's, if not thundred(s) of thousands of troops onto Australian soil within weeks before any ally assistance can reach Australia, not withstanding a few jets from Europe arriving in a day or two, as they recently did.

In short, the Chinese mlitary is now large and advanced enough to make the crossing from China to Australia sufficiently enough to sustain an advance force.

No guarantees of course, but having made the sea voyage many times within the scope of the offshore oil and gas industry, to me, it is not that far.

It would be incredibly risky but yes it's feasible.
I think their losses would be incredible but they have plenty to spare.
