yes depending on the success of how the picture is/has been painted at home it could go either way, the chinese havent overtly marched upon or missiled anything i can remember, which also begs the question of theei own war machine. think about it, aside from the bluster and bravado and island building in the sth china sea, does anyone think that a country which has no template for war is just going to start lobbing missiles at land and people it states is theirs? they have been keen to understand russia in ukraine for this reason. the risk is taiwan is captured during a more general conflict in the area whenever that may be.....easier to jusitfy and easier to hide the bodies. putin cant play this ling game because he feels his clock ticking.
