A sensitive 'joke' that no one finds very funny.

Pointing out how stupid the Aussie electorate is by agreeing to become the Ukraine of the south is not at the top of everyones popularity list.

But it is true -- we are expected to fight a proxy war on behalf of the US using less than state of the art equipment that we will pay for and be charged interest on.

So does everyone think Ukraine will come running to our aide ?

Or the Phillipines , maybe NZ ?

The joke is on us without doubt and kudos to Keating for pointing it out when no one else has the guts to do so.
