Thanks Raider
but Chinese intensions for Taiwan, as unfortunate as they are, is not the focus of my post. Rather, it is what China will do next after taking Taiwan.
It seems easy to dismiss any agression towards Australia, just as Keating is pontificating about, but the words and actions from China say differently. If Australia is safe, then the argument showing how, must account for the fact that Australia presently has naval ships in the South China Sea that China has already classified as an act of war, but more specifically, what will China do with these military assetts of ours that stand against China when they invade Taiwan. The answer is obvious.
War is coming to Australia through the Chinese take-over of Taiwan. If China suceeds, especially in nuetralizing the 7th Fleet, then the rest is history.
Australia stands at great risk of being invaded. Taiwan is important, but this discussion is about Australia.
