Spite? He didn't pay for the shares so there's no real loss on his part. Who's to say it's not selling and buying between accounts controlled by the same entity. I've always found the massive supply that comes through on price sensitive announcements suspect where if they didn't flood the market with shares the price would have appreciated.
But at the end of the day DCC has to claw out of this hole by generating revenue from its products/services showing the market it's got a future.
