I'm pretty sure Microsoft's Power Platform has been around for a few years now. It's just a set of developer tools, not a product feature like LiveTile's Wizdom Power Panel as you've suggested. With these latest updates to Power Platform, Microsoft have just made improvements to how these tools work with their Teams product.

The fact that Microsoft are investing so much time and effort in Teams and building out the infrastructure to make things better for developers, must mean they see a big opportunity in this space moving forward.

In my opinion, it just reconfirms LVT's decision to bring their products over to the Teams platform. It's certainly not a move out of desperation as some have suggested previously.
