It's no longer Tesla. It's Ford, GM, VW, Mercedes, and every other major Western manufacturer. It is windmills. It is the fact that most of China's capacity will be sucked up by their own EV/windmill industries.It is the fact that Western economies are rapidly de-coupling with China, which will continue.
And Lynas is, as noted, the only downstream REO producer for the time being (not sure if MP has their operation back up and running) with great strategic plans in place. More importantly, KAL is a go, giving Lynas a huge advantage in Australia.
It looks more and more like China will accelerate its confrontational posture vs the US. RE's were identified back as far as Hua as one of China's primary strategic advantages.
