keep in mind: anyone with a margin loan or any other form of DVP account would have sold in the days before the new shares hit the market (i know of a couple of people who did it and wished i could have gotten away with it as well).
The big question mark is around the value of those short dated MAKOs. I dont doubt that MAK will be well higher in the coming year, but whether it gets there in 9 months... that may be a bit too much to ask.
again, for all those traders, their average price (accounting for 1:2 5.5c options) is nearer to 40cents. That means in the short term traders can still book a profit all the way down to 40.5cents!!
I hope it doesnt get there, but it is possible based soley on profit takers from the SPP
