happydayz, might be a while but decimalisation of Marijuana has more or less already happened.
In the ACT, NT and SA use of and possession of small quantities of marijuana has already been decimalised, it all other states it is still a criminal offence but possession of small amount only attracts a warning, small fine and/or referral to a intervention program.
happydayz, I assume you have never smoke pot and know few people that do, there are many people from all walks of life that smoke pot and they are far from what you call pot heads.
I personal know and have shared a joint with many a high profile person that smoke a bit of pot.
Just because some thing is illegal does not make it unethical or bad for you, just as if some thing is legal doesn't mean it is ethical or good for you.
