You're absolutely right, the technical pattern is strictly not a head and shoulders. However, it's more like a triple top. I was looking at the relatively light volume on the last leg up and its meaning is similar to a textbook head and shoulders in which that last leg up is usually on lighter volume than the other two up moves.
You're right that it could be consolidation after a big move up. I'll give you that.
