There was a not so insignificant issue of the Allergan transaction going on, and the heavy hitters were assembled to review progress and most importantly discuss jettisoning Teva's non-core investments and research. The convenor after asking about this stem cell speculation nonsense, and costs involved in continuing the study made a hasty decision.
