As cynical as I am about Fool - having followed it from its launch in the late 90's US bubble ( mania) - this seems quite reasonable. That their own banker, JPM d/graded them - to neutral as I Posted from Fool over the weekend - I said I found truly shocking (unless - if one is really, really cynical - they deliberately wanted to push it down to buy cheaper, a trademark / hallmark of most GS "SELL" calls). But to do it to its own client? Well, yes, GS during GFC did take the opposite side of what it advised its own Clients...revealed to and chastised by to US Congress...so...anything goes...

The other option was that they might actually have been honest (as unlikely as that seems), and since they - as MSB's Bankers - know it all, wanted their Clients to get out. However, I don't know exactly when the d/grade was issued, and if during ASX TH (a concept essentially unknown in USA, vs ASX, a total pain in the butt, to put it politely). I think June 1.

Does anyone know if trading was halted on NASDAQ? My guess is yes, since it's an ADR (and so, by definition, tracks the foreign stock, tho there can be rare variations). In case folks are still confused, NASDAQ will track today's price action and fall the equivalent amount, currency adjusted.
Unless they're really upset. But as a rule, an ADR is a tracking stock, always has been (easier way for Americans to buy foreign stocks , without tax implications, paper shuffling, very low prices (hence the ADR is 5 MSB.ASX shares), etc....
MSB.ASX drives MESO.NAS....not the reverse...was always so.
