The option holder is either trying to make a gain on the option, or else they are trying to minimise their net loss by exercising (because they paid for the option).
I think now we are in the stage of people trying to make a net gain. This might actually happen if the company can produce positive results in the interim.
If not, as we approach maturity, holders will attempt minimisation of net loss and then I expect 42c. But not 30c.
