Yes, I am speculating here but I wonder if someone has already given them an offer (perhaps even higher than now) and this is why it is going down like it is. There are silver shortages all over the world and these people with virtually unlimited fiat look for ways to control the supply. MKR is about to go online with silver production and what better way to get a hold of it than offer some juicy millions so you can expand your plant and go big. No big investor can buy enough MKR right now to do this the normal way.

If there are any new conditions about where the silver MKR mine goes I guarantee this was part of some plan to get a hold of new silver supply entering the market. So keep an eye on that.
