Hanktanson; I have been disappointed with NCM over the last two years. Basically they haven't moved much price wise since the LGL takeover while the price of gold has soared (I know some others goldies haven?t moved much either) and they have paid what I consider a lousy dividend, <1%, particularly in these times of bumper profits. For some reason NCM also seems to be the target of short selling which keeps a lid on their price. So earlier this year I sold 2/3 of my holding and spread the proceeds over three other goldies that pay dividends (TRY, KCN, MML)?.now my bottom line is much better and I?m moving ahead again (while NCM has gone backward in the same period). There is this expectation that because NCM is the biggest it should a better performer and be more secure, but I haven?t experienced this. I?m also getting tied of the chants that because it?s big, ?its going to correct to a much higher price any day now, just you wait an see?.
So I agree with you spread it about, it?s worked for me.
