I would like to see it scrapped so my kids can afford to buy a house to live in one day.
With the current model, it would see them living at home, buying a property (with my assistance) in their name and renting it, then using negative gearing.
Not sure if this is sustainable for the future.
This may be one eyed to you guys, but its reality somewhat. Nearly all the Gen Y's at my work do this (live at home and own a rented out property).
