Novo can earn 50% of the conglomerate and paleo placer style gold mineralization only, therefore they are only interested in sampling what they can have access to ie. the conglomerate only was sampled, not soils.
Agree that it is a weird structure in some ways at the moment, but I think that will evolve over time. Hopefully there won't be too many games played.
