Sorry......Since I started, I better finish off my "historical ramblings" re: London...
The name Troy Novant (London's first name) means New Troy (as if you did not know, sorry...) and according to a myth, it was thus named by the Mythical Trojan (no...not a Virus, like the ones my computer is full of, ..., nor a horse..) hero Aineias, who reached Britain after having spent time in Rome.
