SPT doesn't need an app.

SPT leverages its own proprietary API technology which is embedded within the CC authorisation process on a merchant's own website and (shortly) via partners MC/V/Stripe (to accelerate ramp up). It's that simple. A frictionless way of splitting payments using an existing CC.

Maybe an app showing a directory of merchants where SPT is accepted, but then that information is already on its corporate website. Frankly I wouldn't want them wasting time building an app.

And FWIW, I have a hunch their July month end numbers may be released before Wednesday's call ... or Thu/ Fri.
