Having sold at higher price could buy back and keep balance in bank or buy many more shares.
The track record of CCU management and "sus" posts promoting CCU along the way does not in itself make a return too inviting.
After much "propaganda" from company previous fund raising has been keenly taken up but followed by fairly massive slumps in share price. Can one be sure that this time will be different?
Management can't or wont suggest likely outcomes in production of silver with the impending mill. However the mill is the "lure" being used to give followers hope - and this may be largely misplaced. The overriding statement from management (NOTE) is not what is expected in production of silver but what the objective is. If you have faith in ULTIMATE OBJECTIVES being realised (for the first time with this company) then you will hold and add.
One can safely say CCU is/was in financial difficulty and the present rights issue is a desperate effort to give time to increase production and profit.
Price of silver is trending down and short term production is in excess of industrial needs which could decline with another financial crisis or downturn.
Management has indicated CCU is highly leveraged to price of silver. Present falling price of silver is not positive. Company is not forthright in indicating present cost of production!!
So to answer your question. Am following CCU as there is a reasonable possibility that in the next few months share price will be in single figures and am watching the gradual diminishing of the company's position with the possibility of buying back into CCU. My caution has been very justified in the past and present actually. Will be difficult to come back.
As for previous occasions people who are living in hope or have confidence that imminent surge in CCU capacity and efficiency and solid profits will hold and add.
Will watch share price and will make a final decision by the end of the year.
Best wishes for everyone whatever their decision.
