And then you claimed (copy of your post)

In case you do not understand what RSK said in his press release, the plan is to first refurbish plant 2 (the newer less out of shape plant) and use the operating cashflow from this operation to fund the refurbishment of plant 1 (which was constructed in 2002, I think), at which point Chatree will reach full plant capacity of 5-5.5 mtpa.

Keith Goode is not saying that Chatree has 8-10 mtpa milling capacity, so please stop writing this stuff. He simply theorized that if both plants were in operation and only processed "soft ore" then they might be able to get up to 8 mtpa. There is no point in dreaming about this level of processing as they have never achieved it in the past, but I do agree that they can process more ore than the current rated 5mtpa level of plant capacity, and perhaps could around 7 mtpa for short periods processing only soft ore. To get anywhere near 10 mtpa KCN would need to undertake a major plant expansion for which they would need funds of $150=200m given higher equipment and construction costs as well as a lot of govt approvals.

It would be silly to avoid processing hard ore, as this would leave a lot of gold in the ground and this ore may contain higher gold grades that would allow for a higher level of actual gold production.

In the short to medium term the best way for KCN to increase production (and revenue) over what they achieved in the last few years of production is to restart both plants and process higher grade ore from areas that were denied to them by past governments.

The big change might be the grade if the Quartz lease is higher grade. This would be a big benefit if things work out as planned.
