I am quite new to SSM but like their business, dividend, balance sheet and their ability to manage covid as explained in the 21 May business update. I need the majority of my portfolio to be solid with a reliable dividend so as to provide for my retirement and SSM fits the bill. I have some gold plays (MCT and MGV) but who knows where they will eventually end up ... a capital gain is all i can expect as there will certainly be no dividend in the near future.
So for me looking at SSM's SP over the past 6-months I will be topping up at anything under $1.90 as i consider that a very favorable SP.
