I agree about the minnows, this slump will not help them when they really need something to ensure their survival. Long term, if a few non-producers go "belly-up" then that will in turn make GXY and survivors worth more in the long run.
In the last few years I've actually though there might be a slither of hope for the human race... if we don't ween ourselves off oil dependence then I believe their is no hope. Battery technology with solar and other green technology for now and in the future hopefully fusion power will deliver.
What we really need is a BIG solar and/or battery breakthrough that tips the scales for this technology for even "blind-Freddy" to see.
