Given that Hospira are forking out $140m plus royalties for one...

Given that Hospira are forking out $140m plus royalties for one large region, why would they not have tried to take out the company, have access to the whole world and keep all the profits themselves ?

Or maybe they will think of doing this next year, whilst now keeping the rights as the only company able to take Chemgenex for a test drive !!!
