    Yeah you are....

    It isn't the governments role to bail out the private sector.

    If a company has been mismanaged and clearly OZL has, let the free market deal with it. Companies have been going bankrupt since day dot. Fundamentally its a very healthy thing to let incompetence be dealt with accordingly. You compensate for board room inadequacies your setting a dangerous standard.

    Allowing a state owned Chinese company take over a Australian mining company is another matter. Clearly the market doesn't think it will happen anyway. One thing that needs to be kept in mind, Prominent Hill is on defense force land.

    Should the US government be bailing out the US car industry anyway? You listen to the free market economists(Ones that predicted this mess mind you) and the answer is no. Same goes with the the banking system. IMO, by bailing out these sectors the US is simply delaying the inevitable!
