Thank you for post it explains many things. I too Bought GWM when I sold all my MCP, I thought MCP was severely overpriced from hype about China's embargo of Japan. Because I had been talking to Tolly a lot about Lynas I primarily bought Lynas, also took a position in GWM. Not knowing a lot about company other than it was a start up in REE space and had LCM a great asset. It did not take long to realize they were just stumbling in Africa. I exited losing a few cents per share. I followed them without owning them till just before bankruptcy, thinking if they could fix a few things they could be a great buy. Same as Lynas today. I remember them selling LCM before GWM went BK. I do not remember them separating LCM out as a new company and giving current GWM holders shares in the new company. It was an outright sell to raise cash. If I am correct, you have no shares in LCM. As a stock holder you might know better please correct me with references if I am wrong.
The fact you held GWM till its shares were worth less than a penny tells me a lot about your current attitude about Lynas. Apparently, you learned nothing from your GWM loss. We have all had multiple big loses. My biggest reduced my portfolio by about 40%. Learning from them makes you a better investor. Not learning means you will repeat your mistakes.
