pauls1923 - i had a rush of blood. in the cold hard light of day a merger with pna makes little sense.

any spare cash should be put to use in a share buyback - far too many shares out there already (let alone topping it up with pna numbers).

disagree with what you say about gary stafford though. i have a vague memory about the environmental spill but the exact details escape me however the outcome seems to have been positive. accidents occur and it is the ability to address and recover that differentiate the weak from the strong. so i see this as a positive for stafford and no, i have never met the man, have you?

pna are running a very lean operation with good exploration prospects but merger/takeover should not be on the agenda.

and if you were wondering, i do hold pna and sentiment is buy, buy, buy.
