This makes sense, however, no one would be buying the brown stuff...
Instead, the Coal they potentially can sell is the one which feeds their Bayswater power station, which used to be supplied by Mt Arthur.
Liddell is already near or out of contracted coal so they are buying this at market.
Though the issue at the moment is most NSW black coal power stations are facing poor coal quality plus weather disruptions which mean they are having to buy at market for supply.
This makes sense, however, no one would be buying the brown...
