If he had said in 2002, "Hey Rebel, I just bought this property for $74K and I think it will be worth $250K in just a few years" I will bet my bollocks you would have said "I don't think so"
Property just marches on year after year, decade after decade, generation after generation and at any point in time you will find the same comments, the same belief that "now it is different".
