I think there will be actions against EWC/SE. That there are 2-3 big shareholders means there is accountability. I do not buy into the efficiency/efficacy of HK liquidators, from experience they do nothing unless they get a large cheque.
There is another explanation where SE may not be evil. He may have just dug himself a very big hole, got frightened and went shtum, but is trying to do right by everyone as best as he can. I might be naive - but good intentions will not save him - the path to hell is paved with good intentions.
