The debt and ownership structure is there to block takeovers and buyouts, at the moment it appears to have backfired as it also makes lending criteria more difficult, less security.
Tokyo Gas were the last people to show much interest, LNG export through Keera, but the Indonesians didn’t want the export or the competition to the local family / Govt / Mitsubishi consortium Donggi - Senoro so it didn’t happen.
