You've got to be kidding.
A director sells $5k worth of stock from the ~5.8 m shares he holds (not to mention the 9.5 m options he holds) and your confidence leaves you. You should really examine why you bought into the stock in the first place if this is the case.
Directors sell and buy stock all the time. They have their reasons just as we all do. The timing was OK imo, there are no results due - drilling has yet to begin and the amount was immaterial.
