Agree. It does seem odd that KM applied to ASIC to get an extension out to October 2018 for the financial reports ending 30/6/2016 and 31/12/2016.

Why the long delay???? Is this to thwart legal action by the shareholders or do they need that much time to go through the books to determine if there has been any wrongdoing by Arriums board.

They are due to hand down their report on Arrium to ASIC by end of February 2016. We await the report to and no doubt lawyers representing the shareholders will be reading it closely too.

And former Chairman Mr Peter Smedley (and CEO Geoff Plummer) might well be a little nervous too. Hope their multi million dollar houses are in their wife's name. If not, it may well be in the sights on S/Holders lawyers.
