Those aren't reasons, they are numbers... why do you think those numbers spell a definitive problem in this case?

As much as 2.3 billion shares is a large number, a quarter of a *billion* traded in a single day is nothing to sneeze at either.

I'm not claiming to have any answers here, but for the sake of my research I welcome any well thought-out rationales in either direction.
