why only 1 share, page-2

Thats what ive always wanted to know, the only reasons i can come up with was

    1) that person thinks the stock is good so they dish out 1 share as a statement "here you go desperate people, have only one of my shares, because you aint getting anymore"

    2) they have an inbalance of shares so try to even it all up by selling one, which may be helpful if they are in a pool or something

    3) they may try to manipulate market depth, for when one has a look they can see a the high and low bid, even though its just one share, onlookers might not know its just one share when they are just having a quick look

I always thought as a rule around $500 was acceptable for an ASX trade? I may be wrong, but if anyone can shed any light that would be great

    cheers
