In Jan 2018, Varian Medical Systems made a $1.3bn bid for Sirtex but CDH Investments beat Varian with a higher bid of $1.9bn.
Varian was taken over by Siemens Healthineer in 2020 and is based in Germany.
IMO, OSL could follow the same path as Sirtex.
