Covering about 3 miles in 2 and a half hours. Basically, nobody knows whether that is good or bad. It is obviously really fractured with some continuity, but it could make fracking hard. From what I was told it is staying in the Niobrara. The good news is that a land owner in the know told me that our place is on the edge of an anomoly and that is why they are doing two sets of seismic. He has been telling me that for quite a while. It started happening when they were fracking Ahlbrandt. I don't for sure whether it is just water being pushed through the formation or actual fracking water showing up. They are sure that it is related to the fracking of Ahlbrandt though. The scary thought we all had is if water moves that well they could suck oil out from under us from a long ways away. ----------------------------------
Only going from what I've just read above, but personally I can't see how it could possibly be ground water, as the water table is way above the horizontal, and they plug & case the well just under the water table before continuing drilling down to horizontal depth.
Sounds very promising to me, volume has been increasing the last 3 days as well as the price.
