recently spoke to a financial adviser and came to the conclusion that it was an absolute waste of time. he felt quite proud of himself in offering me a 9% return on my investment and i had to restrain myself from laughing at him considering i can get 7% from my bank wihtout any risk whatsoever (for my extra funds) and a MUCH higher return than that from my current portfolio.
I was courteous and thanked him for his time and when he made his follow up call i explained to him i had better ideas for my money.
