I don't agree with the no nuclear for what it's worth, although I dont think we should be jumping at it either. Meltdown is no party.
Have you looked at solar thermal? It's excellent technology. Solves a lot of the 'buffering' problems too. Nothing wrong with wind power too, I'm not sure why righties hate wind power so much, but alas they do.
