Shorters and algorithms are two very different things, although most high-frequency trading algorithms are optimised to work well in long and short positions. Most shorters are just institutional investors or hedgefunds that short a stock. Sounds like there is some confusion about what you guys are hating on.

Clearly your concern is the high frequency trading. As discussed earlier, they trade both ways, so its more of an even trading field that you might think. There are other reasons why the share price has dropped that no one seems to discuss such as an increase in uncertainty on the global economy mainly due to trade war fears and Brexit as well as some oversupply concerns regarding lithium. These are fundamental issues that we know have had an impact on the shareprice, so why waste time speculating about shorters or high frequency trading or whatever else you lot can come up with.

This is painfully obvious when we can see that all other lithium players on the ASX have a similar shareprice movement over the last year. Surely shorters didn't collude and bring them all down at the same time?
