Imagine this.... You are a high faluting oil baron and you are watching the sun set on your empire....you've controlled the supplies and gouged and pillaged for 60 years.. And now the writing is on the wall... People don't want petrol and diesel they want electric/lithium.
What do you do... You take your war chest and you establish a beachhead in the industry by pushing all the little hogs to the end of the trough...cmon guys you honestly thought they would go quietly? They will control the market and squeeze you out. If you wait long enough you will grow to be one of the hogs... But if you think clean energy is not going to be dirty business then I have a bridge I can sell you.
